| The Seeds of my own Right Livelihood. Growing up I would often “daydream” in class. No matter how hard I would fake interest in the subjects at hand, I found it much more entertaining to tap into my imagination for insights and creative ideas. After all, Walt Disney made it look so fun. But rather than my teachers reveling in my original thinking, I would often get in trouble. So I began to try and sort out what was wrong with me. Alas, I attempted to stifle my natural impulse for creative thinking in an effort to be considered normal. But like all innate gifts they don’t go away quietly. They just get louder. It wasn’t until I “got away” from trying to fit in, that I discovered that what I thought was a weakness was actually a great asset. I not only learned how to read, write and do arithmetic but my natural talent for accessing my imagination was being developed on the sly. Prior to my present incarnation, I was a clothing and textile surface design artist and sold my originals exclusively through art festivals and trunk shows in Hawaii, Florida and Cape Cod. Then I transitioned into becoming a Unity Spiritual Leader, professional Public Speaking coach, Writer, Editor and Communications Specialist for the Unity Institute, the world headquarters for the Unity movement located in Unity Village, Missouri. |

| Christy Leela Mac founded Universe Girl Word Art Productions in 2004 as a vessel to express her creativity. After trying several career paths and not finding one that fit just right, she decided she might as well do something that was fun. Armed with everything from watercolors, self help books and new thought music she set out for the Gulf of Mexico to discover her authentic livelihood. She rented a condo by the water and set up what she playfully called "The Leela Studio Way" an intentional studio atmosphere designed to access her unique genius and hopefully entice it to come out of hiding. Within a day she had stumbled upon a simple yet profound Universal Truth. No matter what the issue, if we just stop, become still and ask - the solution will appear. As a result she hand painted a series of watercolors with messages that were infused with Universal insights that revealed to her how to align with the path of her right livelihood. Today she shares her heightened "sense" ability for discovering authentic forms of right livelihood with creative beings from all walks of life. Through her films, artwork, individual and group sessions, keynote speeches, right livelihood gatherings, workshops, and retreats "Leela" combines her working knowledge of Universal Law with her artistic nature and keen intuition for accessing and calling forth the unique genius of others. Using her playful yet effective Leela Studio Way methodology, she assist others at "warp speed" by creating an intentional energy field for accessing the "studio of the imagination" and attracting the best creative ideas from your essential self. Her documentary, Do What Makes Your Heart Sing-The Path of Right Livelihood, expresses lovingly through the sage advice of nine new thought songwriters that everyone can create their dream job if they follow the high lighted route and "Do" what makes their heart sing. “Everyone is born a genius, but the process of living de-geniuses them.” said Bucky Fuller. Now that she's discovered her uniqueness she is about the work of individually and collectively re- geniusing the world. |
